                    Post menopausal = <118 pmol/L

   (paediatric)
   Usually < 60 pmol/L in both sexes. In females the levels increase around 11 yrs 
   reflecting onset of cyles. Increase seen in male at puberty reflecting peripheral 
   aromatisation of testosterone.
